Well after getting Jin'rokh down we decided to go for the other guy that started with "Ji" and got him down too, shame there aren't any more as they are easy pickings
Heroic Jin'rokh down! - 02 May 2013
We're finally off the mark in the heroic race with Jin'rokh down after several hours of raid members taking balls to the face. It literally took up until the last pull of the night before people realised how to dodge slow moving lightening balls. Hopefully future kills won't be as painful!
Lei Shen down! - 23 Apr 2013
Lei Shen down, which means we're now 12 of 12 and can start attempting the heroic encounters. Well done guys, got him down fairly easily after mastering the transitions. Heroic Jin'rokh next!
Gold Challenge Modes - 23 Apr 2013
As promised, a couple of quick screenshots of the gold challenge mode gear and mounts... in front of the temple of the jade serpent, not sure why this location, it just looked good!
MoP Update - 16 Apr 2013
The guild is doing well on Blackrock horde and making good progress in 5.2 with 11/12 bosses down in normal mode. Looking forward to Lei Shen next week and heroic not long after.
We also picked up the Guild Gold Challenge Mode Achievement earlier this month, unlocking the Thundering Serpent Hatchling pet. Waiting on Dreadmoore to finish off the 2 he needs before taking a guild screenshot to show off the CM transmog gear and phoenix mounts ... Thought about using his old Dranei Al Akir shot, but had already used that for Deathwing below lol
SC raiding in Mists - 14 Aug 2012
The SC crew on Blackrock is counting down the days to Mists of Pandaria (not long to go now!). See you guys in game on Sept 25th for the obligatory power levelling and keyboard-face-smashing that will result from undergeared raiding with everyone trying to go from greens to epics (who needs "dungeon blues" - amirite, Dankyn?)
Guild Wars 2 - Coming Soon! - 02 Aug 2012
Southern Cross has decided to open up shop in Guild Wars 2 with Mooney as the GM.
Between the WvWvW and the great class system, GW2 is shaping up to be a game that may finally last longer than a few months. :D
