The old SC crew couldn't resist the opportunity to finally take down Deathwing in 4.3. After pugging a couple of raid spots, Deathwing went down easily enough with MJ the last man standing!! Grats to Trez on the mount!!
Heroic Magmaw down! 4/13 - 24 Mar 2011
Another day, another heroic down. We had heard that the worm had been nerfed, but definitely weren't expecting him to be this much of a walkover. After realising we had the DPS and the heals to get him down, we decided to spend part of the night on him and that decision paid off with a pretty decent kill after a couple of hours. Thankfully this guy doesn't rely on anyone interupting anything, amirite guys.
Omnotron, on the other hand, looks like a completely different proposition at this stage ...

Shame we couldn't get him down before the scorching flame nerf - but oh well, a kill is a kill. After a few frustrating hours, he finally went down on (yep, you guessed it) the last attempt of the night.. damn, might just start Sunday's raid at 11:45pm and called "last attempt" on heroic Atramedes.

Probably shouldn't have kicked back a couple of brewskis before the raid, otherwise we would have had him down earlier in the night - feud tank kept dying thanks to my betty white reflexes. Got him down in the end and had a few really good cracks at maloriak including a 9% wipe. Hopefully get him down soon!

Heroic halfus down after a handful of attempts! Special mention to the healers for putting up with all the missed interupts. Grats to the guys picking up the first lot of 372 loots. And grats to Pathogens for finding out how to get out of a stun.
Nerfian down ! Tier 11 normal modes cleared - 12 / 12 - 01 Mar 2011
In typical SC style, last pull of the night delivers the goods. It was touch and go with Dumpling dying at around 10% - thankfully he was on the other side of the room so that ads had to travel a fair distance before getting loose in the raid. In what would have made Beach proud, AotD comes good as it bought some vital time as Nef's health ticked down to 0% (could have sworn I heard a "DO IT FOR DANK" on vent amongst the calls to "ZERG IT")
All normal modes down - time to check out heroics.
-update- Apparently there was disappointment that titles were not on in the kill shot

After a solid night of attempts, Al'akir down in 10 man normal mode. Only Nefarian to go!
